Do you have radiant floor heating? I’m building a house, major energy-efficient, SIPs (www.eco-panels.com), Serious Windows, and geothermal. I live in Alaska, but building/moving to Western NC, 3750 ft, cold for south actually. I’m in a quandry about slab-on-grade (to utilize radiant slab with geo), or conditioned crawl space?! Your floor looks stunning! I didn’t know a stained floor could look so gorgeous! Was it really spendy? I def wouldn’t want to paint the concrete either! Your contractor did a fab job! Love to know more, can you email me, that’s if you don’t want to post here?!

Boulder?! I have two sisters and father/step-mother living in CO, one Sis in Boulder, LOVE that town! Great eats, markets, people, country, weather! Dunshabe Tea House (sp?), did you go there? Glad you’re back on-line. Can’t wait to hear more when you’re settled!
